In 2014, we will be celebrating our 23nd Year of the Texas HomeSchool State Basketball Championships!
The 2014 Texas Home School State Basketball Championships will be held at Fieldhouse USA in Frisco, TX, on February 27-March 1, 2014. In 2013, 171 teams from all over the state of Texas competed in 10 divisions (18U down to 1OU).
Fieldhouse USA (11 courts) serves as the THSSBC Tournament Headquarters and is located at 6155 Sports Village Rd., Frisco, Texas 75034. The facility is conveniently located off North Dallas Tollway (Dallas Parkway)―north of Plano, Texas, in the heart of one of the fastest-growing communities in Texas. A second facility (IAD in Carrollton) may also be used for Thursday and Friday games, if needed.
On Saturday, the Championship games for 12U, 14U, 16U, and 18U, as well as the 3rd Place games for 18U, are played at a Frisco ISD high school (TBD) in order to accommodate the fans. All other games, including the 1OU Boys championship game, will be played at the Fieldhouse USA.
For planning purposes, expect the first set of games to begin at 9:00 am on Thursday, February 27, at Fieldhouse USA, and the final championship games (18G & 18B) to be played at 3:30 and 5:30, respectively, on Saturday afternoon at the Frisco ISD high school (TBD). All divisions will begin on Thursday, including 10U Boys & 10U Girls. The 3-point shooting contest (preliminaries) will be held on Friday at Fieldhouse USA, and the 3-point shooting contest FINALS will be held on Saturday afternoon, at the Frisco ISD (TBD) high school facility.
Team fees are $350 per team for all divisions (including 10U). Teams are guaranteed 4 games, but many teams will get 5 games.
